Be sure to add twice the memory they recommend, I have this problem with most people who have heard Vista software, the new one. It is a great thing, but uses large amounts of memory, so that your computer putt-putt. I will are one equipped with two processors to help it. In addition, Microsoft, which have a free telephone call, and help you to your problem by removing or storing unused programs. They are fantastic and helped me a lot. I have a very old computer and it works very well with them. (Microsoft)
1) Increase the RAM (2 GB for Vista)
2) At least 25% of the disk should be (mostly in the partition free, where the system is installed operatiing)
3) Defragment your hard drive.

Three things to run your PC faster
Best CPU
More RAM
Large (faster) hard drive.
Check the specifications for these 3 things and see what needs to be replaced.
NOTICE is - 1G RAM Vista uses almost enough to start, we recommend that the lease ran 2G

First, you probably have too many processes running at startup. Do it ....
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type msconfig
4. Click on the tab "Startup"
5. Turn off everything, not what to initiate.
6. Click Apply
7. The computer asks you to restart the system.
8. When the computer restarts, you will see a message that the changes made. Check the box that says do not show again.
Then come a couple of good spyware cleaner. I recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free. After downloading the latest updates and then restart the computer in "Safe Mode". Therefore, all the spyware on your computer to work there anymore. Analyze, not everyone at a time, while in "safe mode". Not even a virus scan while in "safe mode". I hope the problem is Slovak. See links below.

A 2004 PC, HP is not really the intention of Vista. This could be a part of the problem

What is the quality of a team that has nothing to do with the year, unless the premium over time.
You may have bought something very out of date or obsolete processor, can have a bad network card, you may have a bad internet connection at home or in the actual transformation of society.

The chances are you have a ton of garbage or other spyware and slow temp files. There are many programs that can help clean your system, then the first attempt, Spybot Ad-Aware. a little time to run after update, but worth the time. everything free
Run spyware cleaners, defragmenting your system, free space on your hard drive, and check with a little more RAM.
You can use the memory on your computer ... usually your DDR or DDR2 (Double Data RAM) ... Windows Vista requires 512 or 1 GB of RAM or more ... and the second ... I do not know what you're talking about .... r
