I am very sorry that your hamster died (before the introduction of a new PET in the same cage that you have everything I can. Put them in a plastic bag, tie and place it in your tray.
Do not soak the cage to clean it with antibacterial Dettol as bleach or down (3 parts water to one part bleach). and cause the air for several hours, otherwise, respiratory diseases, for your new pet.
Repeat with toys and wheels

Use the sawdust. Clean the cage and its contents, the laundering of 5-10%. Let dry. The smell of chlorine disappears overnight. It should be ready for the fresh sawdust and a new hamster.
